Musikkgalleriet is a collective consisting of soprano Angelle Khachik, soprano Marilyn Almeida and pianist Siril Valberg.
They are one of the few permanent professional ensembles in Norway that offer concert performances with an interdisciplinary concept that unites music, art and mediation.
In recent years, they have played over 100 concerts for more than 3,000 audiences from Moss in the south to Tromsø in the north! The collective is committed to communicating high-quality music and art in an easy-to-understand and entertaining way so that close and good contact with the audience is established. Musikkgalleriet's goal is that art and music should reinforce the impression of each other and take the audience on a journey through emotions, moods and expressions.
The collective has played in several of the country's largest cultural centers and concert halls, in churches, galleries and other concert arenas. Musikggalleriet performs just as happily on large stages as in small and intimate formats. Highlights include concerts at Stormen Concert Hall in Bodø, Tromsø Cultural Center, Bærum Cultural Center, Musikkens venner Nordhordland, Musikkens venner Grimstad, Petter Dass Museum in Alstahaug and Trosterudvillaen in Oslo.
Musikkgalleriet engages with seniors as a target group and has been engaged by Den kulturelle Spaserstokken in 17 municipalities throughout the country. They have also held individual concerts at Carpe Diem dementia village, concerts at almost all senior centers in Bærum municipality, senior centers in Oslo municipality, pension university and senior academy, meeting centers and volunteer centers. The music gallery has previously received support from the Arts Council, Creo vederlagsfond, FFUK, Bergesenstiftelsen and Nordland County Council for its projects.
